Indian weddings are not only elaborate but full of fun. Apart from the newlywed couple, food is one important thing we all look forward to. Weddings now have seen drastic changes from what they used to be during our parents' times. In present times, the wedding is all about show and pumps while 20 years ago, marriage ceremonies used to be simple and unpretentious. From pre-wedding shoots, designer clothes to destination wedding trends are evolving. 

As kids, we have attended so many weddings and have fond memories of those moments. In one such memory, a wedding menu card from a Bengali wedding in 1990 is going viral on social media and is making netizens super nostalgic.

A Twitter post shared by @SadMandalorian of her parent's wedding has made everyone emotional on the microblogging site.

The post reads, “Omg my cousin found my parents' wedding reception menu card (sic),” the caption read. The menu card mentions a collection of some delightful food dishes and while the post has two images that have a simple design. From chilli chicken, fried rice to paan, each of the food items looks mouthwatering. Do check out the sweet note from the caterers printed at the bottom of the savoury menu card.

The post that has gone viral was shared on July 4 and has garnered over 400 likes and tons of lovely reactions. Many are surprised to see the type of wedding menu cards that caterers used to supply during the 90s. While some remembered how they used to get a keychain with the wedding card and some pointed out how the disease names were written according to the Bengali pronunciation.
