Tokyo Olympics 2020: 24 people, including three athletes, infected by corona at the Olympics

Chandigarh: Twenty-four new cases of the corona, including three athletes, came to light on Thursday. This is the highest number of cases received in a single day during the Olympic Games. So far, the number of corona cases found here has risen to 193. The number of cases of corona infection is increasing day by day in Tokyo. For the first time since the launch of the Tokyo Olympics 2020, more than 3,000 new cases of corona have been reported in a single day in the Japanese capital, Tokyo. A record 2,848 new cases were registered on Tuesday, but more were reported on Wednesday. According to officials, more than 3,000 new Covid-19 infections were reported in Tokyo on Wednesday, July 28, the highest number since the outbreak began in the Japanese capital.

The officials said Corona's case comes at a time when the Tokyo Olympics are being held in Tokyo under the Covid-19 emergency. Tokyo has reported 3,177 new cases of the coronavirus, the highest number of infections in a single day. The number of infected people in the Japanese capital has risen from 2 million to 6,745 since the outbreak began early last year.
