One more good news for Indian fans at the Tokyo Olympics 2020. Wrestler Ravi Dahiya of India has qualified to the semi-finals of the 57 kg weight category, while Wrestler Deepak Punia of India has advanced to the semi-finals of the 86 kg weight category. Ravi was victorious over the Bulgarian wrestler. Deepak defeated the Chinese wrestler at the same time.

India earned a total of 5 Olympic wrestling medals. KD Jadhav, Sushil Kumar (2), Yogeshwar Dutt, and Sakshi Malik were the olympians before Ravi Dahiya and Deepak Punia.

In the Javelin Throw, Neeraj Chopra has qualified for the final. There are high expectations from  Indian women's hockey team and boxer Lovlina Borgohain.

By reaching the semi-finals, the hockey team has already delivered its best performance.The team will definitely give its best to reach in finals also.

Lovlina is also in the same boat. Lovlina, who won a bronze medal in her first Olympic Games, now wants to win silver or gold. Aside from wrestling, India is expecting that the Indian contingents will also perform their best in athletics and golf.

Neeraj Chopra threw 86.65m in the first attempt

Neeraj Chopra qualifies for finals in javelin throw. Neeraj was a part of Pool A. In his first attempt, he threw a distance of 86.65 metres. With this, he increases India's chances of winning a medal. Chopra's Olympic preparations were hampered by an injury and the COVID-19 pandemic, but he did not disappoint her supporters by reaching the final in his first throw.

Shivpal Singh, the other Indian thrower, has been eliminated. In his third attempt, he threw 74.81 metres. He had previously thrown 74.80 metres in his second effort and 76.40 metres in his first.
