In Tuesday’s noon trade, local stock markets were trading near the day’s high. The Sensex witnessed a record high of 54,779.66 while the Nifty scored a high of 16,359.25 in the mid-morning trade. S&P BSE Sensex traded with a gain of 329 points at 54,731.85 at 12:47 p.m. At 16, 345.95 the Nifty 50 traded 87.70 points lower. Certain stocks were a swing in either direction as per the reports linked to them. Following is a list of those stocks:

IPO UPDATES:

Chemplast Sanmar IPO: To raise Rs. 3850 crores, Chemplast Sanmar, a speciality chemicals manufacturer’s IPO opened today for subscription. It was subscribed 0.09 times by 12:35 p.m. on the first day itself. The IPO is slated for closure on Thursday 12 August 2021. The price band has been fixed at Rs 530-541 per share. The lot size has been set at 27 and multiple thereof.

Aptus Value Housing Finance IPO: Aptus is a home finance lender based in southern India that has released its IPO to raise Rs. 2,870 crores. It was subscribed 0.10 times by 12:35 p.m. on day one. The price band has been fixed at Rs. 346-353 per share with a lot size of 42 shares and multiples thereof.

Nuvoco Vistas IPO: This cement major plans to raise Rs. 5,000 crore with its IPO that was subscribed 0.23 times by 12:35 p.m. on day two of subscription. The issue is slated for closure on 11 August 2021. The price band has been fixed at Rs. 560-570 per share.

CarTrade Tech IPO: CarTrade Tech is a multi-channel auto platform that aims to raise Rs. 2,998.51 through its IPO that was subscribed 0.56times by 12:35 p.m. on day two of subscription. The price band has been fixed at Rs. 1585-1618 per share.

EARNINGS REACTIONS:

Shree Cement: This cement manufacturer has reported a profit of Rs 662 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2021 with a 78% YoY rise. Down by 3.45%.

Indian Hotels: Indian Hotels Company Limited is the hospitality arm of Tata Group that reported a consolidated loss of Rs 301.6 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2021. Up 0.24%.

Hinduja Global Solutions Ltd: An IT service management company reported a consolidated profit of Rs 117 crore with a decline of 10.2% QoQ for the quarter ended 30 June 2021. Up 5%.

Shalby: A multi-speciality hospitality chain reported a consolidated profit of Rs 20 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2021. Down 5.67%.

Sundaram Finance: An NBFC from Chennai reported profits at Rs 191 crore with a 16% YoY rise for the quarter ended 30 June 2021. Down 1.62%.

Indraprastha Medical Corp. Ltd.: A Delhi based company reported a consolidated profit of Rs 15.4 crore for the quarter ended 30 June 2021. Down 2.20%.

Timken: A manufacturer of bearing and mechanical power transmission products reported a consolidated profit of Rs. 56.72 crore with a 17.7% YoY rise for the quarter ended 30 June 2021. Up 3.90%.

IFB Agro Industries: A beverages company reported a consolidated profit of Rs 16 crore. Up 3.36%.

GSPL: State-run GSPL reported a consolidated profit of Rs. 509 crore with a 130% YoY rise for the quarter ended 30 June 2021. Up 3.74%.

GATI Ltd.: A logistic company based in Hyderabad reported a consolidated loss of Rs. 25 crores for the quarter ended 30 June 2021. Up 3.21%.

Laxmi Organics: A chemical manufacturing company reported a consolidated profit of Rs. 102 crore with a 386% YoY rise for the quarter ended 30 June 2021. Up 6.60%.
