UPI Down or UPI Outage broke the internet on Saturday after thousands and lakhs of users complained that they were not able to make online payments. UPI Outage has already been witnessed in this month. It means it is the second time UPI Down is reported. Even the website or app tracker Downdetetctor confirmed UPI was Down. As per the tracking website, UPI Down complaints skyrocketed at 12:57 pm. More than 2000 users complained that they were not able to via any UPI Apps like Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, etc. As a result, UPI Down memes started to trend on X.
In the meanwhile, NPCI has issued a statement on UPI Down Today. NPCI on X wrote, "NPCI is currently facing intermittent technical issues, leading to partial UPI transaction declines. We are working to resolve the issue, and will keep you updated. We regret the inconvenience caused."
