The US has changed the visa regime for Pakistan reducing their respective visa durations as well with some additions in the visa fees. The US is reported to take this step as Pakistan failed to make changes in its visa regime for US citizens as Pakistan has already imposed some restrictions on the US citizens.

In the latest visa policy issued by the US, the visa duration has been reduced to 3 months for the I type Visa which is for media and journalists.
In the latest amendments US has made in their visa policy, the visa duration for different visas is 3 months for I type (Journalist and Media Visa), 12 months for H type (Temporary Work Visa), 12 months for L type (Intercompany Transfer Visa), 12 months for R type (Religious Worker Visa).
The additional fees will cost the I type visa for $32 and the H, L and R will cost for $38.
