In an attempt to honor frontline workers, who have not stopped rendering services amid the coronavirus pandemic, US-based professional strongman and weightlifting champion, Bill Clark has broken 29 metal license plates into the half with bare hands that too just in a minute.

Clark with this endeavor has scripted another new Guinness World Record. Interestingly, he broke his own record of ripping 23 US- government-issues license plates in half, set on August 22, 2018.

The money has been raised by Clark for 'Make-a-Wish.'

On August 28, the professional strongman reached the NYSEG Stadium in Binghamton to script the new world record.

The car number plates used for the record were not cut or altered in any way. It is evident from the video that Clark was handed a plate, one at a time before he used his hands to tear them up into two pieces, according to Guinness World.

"The truth is when Guinness contacted me I really didn't want to do it. But with the charities and everything else I decided it would be a good thing to do," said Clark.

"I'm so honoured to be surrounded by such incredible people. To do something for Make-A-Wish, anytime you can help people out. When you're able to get to the top of the mountain in your field it's your responsibility to reach down and help people out," said Clark.

Clark has been lifting weights since he was a child. He does so to deal with stress. Clarke in his remarkable strongman and powerlifting career has won the US National and World Powerlifting Championships.

Not only this, but he also owns over 100 state, national and world records on his name in powerlifting.
