After multiple postponements, the stage is all set for Kashmir's new Vande Bharat Express Train. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Jammu and Kashmir from June 6 to June 8. This will be PM Modi's first visit to the valley after the Pahalgam Terror Attack in which 26 tourists were killed by Pakistan-based terrorists. Earlier, the Vande Bharat Srinagar train was slated to be inaugurated on April 19, but it was postponed due to weather-related issues. Thereafter, the Vande Bharat Katra-Srinagar Train's inauguration was postponed again due to the Pahalgam Terror Attack.
