A severe accident occured near Suchi Pind, Jalandhar where an army truck was rammed by another truck on the Jalandhar-Ludhiana highway, resulting in multiple injuries. The army truck was heading towards Ludhiana when the incident occurred. The impact of the accident was so intense that 5 army officers are being reported to be seriously injured.
Upon receiving the information, police immediately arrived at the scene. They reported that the injured have been admitted to a private hospital. According to initial reports, the accident happened because the tire of the other truck burst, leading to the accident with the army truck. This incident caused a significant traffic jam in the area.
Police officials stated that several army personnel were injured in the incident, which occurred at around 6 a.m. The army truck sustained substantial damage in the accident, but fortunately, the truck driver was unhurt. However, the truck driver fled the scene following the accident. Police are currently working to manage the traffic and have initiated an investigation into the matter.
