In a bizarre development, a video of bus driver sleeping while being intoxicated while a passenger has to drive the bus has surfaced. According to reports, a Punjab Roadways bus going to Chandigarh from Amritsar had a driver behind the wheel who was under the influence of alcohol. Seeing the state of the driver, the passengers decide it to be best to take the wheel.
The incident was recorded which shows the driver blissfully sleeping on the bus’s engine cover while it is driven by another passenger. According to information received, there were around 50 people in the bus. The passengers had reportedly stopped the bus midway after realising that the driver was heavily intoxicated. Seeing his state, one of them decided to drive the bus himself while sidelining the driver.
