Virat Kohli's daughter Vamika to be a cricketer? RCB star says 'she has picked up..

During an interview with RCB's YouTube channel, Virat Kohli also revealed that his son Akaay's health is totally fine and talked about his daughter Vamika's future.

Team India cricketer & RCB stalwart Virat Kohli on Friday opened up on his children Vamika and Akaay for the first time. During an interview with RCB's YouTube channel, Virat Kohli revealed that his son Akaay's health is totally fine and thanked fans for all the best wishes. Anchor Danish Sait took a dig at Virat Kohli saying 'one for IPL & other for WPL' hinting that Akaay and Vamika will both play cricket in the future. On this Virat Kohli said- 

"My daughter has picked up a bat and she is really enjoying swinging the bat. But, I am not sure. It's their choice at the end of the day."

For the unversed, Virat and Anushka were blessed with a baby girl on 11 January 2021. Thereafter, the couple was blessed with a baby boy on February 15, 2024. 

During the interview, Virat also revealed that Sunil Chhetri messaged him before announcing his retirement on Thursday. "He is a really dear friend..He actually messaged me as well informing me that he is gonna do it. He felt like he is at peace with the decision. I have become really close with him over the years. I wish him nothing but the best. He is a lovely lovely guy," said Kohli.

For those who are unaware, Sunil Chhetri has played for the country for 19 years, having scored his first goal during his debut match in 2005. The 39-year-old star footballer is among the country's most celebrated players, credited with shining a spotlight on Indian football nationally and internationally, amidst a cricket-centric culture. Currently, Chhetri holds the record of being the third-highest scorer of international goals among active footballers, after Argentina's Lionel Messi and Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo.
