Week-long national level CME for teachers of Panchkarma begins at Dayanand Ayurvedic College

Dayanand Ayurvedic College, the oldest Ayurveda college in India is hosting week long National Level Continuing Medical Education (CME) for Panchkarma teachers starting from today to 20th March 2021. This event is sponsored by Rashitriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth, New Delhi.

Principal Dr. Sanjeev Sood welcomed the chief guest Dr. Sanjeev Goyal, Registrar Guru Ravidas Ayurved University, Hoshiarpur along with Guest of Honour Vaid Jagjit Singh, Chairman Ayurvedic & Unani Board, Punjab and Vaid Anil Bhardwaj, Secretary All India Ayurved Congress, Chandigarh, here today.

Principal Dr Sood briefed about importance of Panchkarma as purification method. He stressed the Ayurvedic doctors to use Panchkarma therapy in skin diseases, neurological, joint problems, abdominal disorders and many other chronic diseases of body.

He said thousands of patients cured in state of art panchkarma center of Dayanand Ayurvedic College, Jalandhar in which different types of Keralite massage, steam bath therapy, emesis therapy, purgation therapy and enema therapy is routinely done. He also gave a guest lecture on Virechana karma and its clinical applications in various diseases.

Dr. Santosh Bhater resource person from All Indian Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi delivered a lecturer on SNEHAN KARMA and its benefits in different diseases, which was very informative. He briefed about role of different type of medicated oils and ghee in healthy state of human being and in different diseases suffered by humanity now a days.

Experts Dr Ashwini Kumar M, Dr. K. S. R. Prasad, Dr. (Prof.) Surendra Vedpathak, Dr Anant Ram Sharma, Dr Santosh Bhater, Dr Uttam Sharma, Dr Gopesh Mangal, Dr Pradip L Grampurohit, Dr Arun Gupta, Dr. B.A. Lohith, Dr Chandramouleshwar from eminent institutes of Ayurveda like All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi, National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, Chaudhary Brahm Prakash Ayurved Charak Sansthan, New Delhi, Ayurvedic College of Hassan and Kerala are going to deliver their expert lecture in this programme to update the knowledge of teachers.

On this occasion all faculty member of Dayanand Ayurvedic College were present in the inaugural function.
