A new documentary highlighting the illustrious career of tennis legend is about to be released. Roger Federer is one of the most successful tennis players of all-time with 20 Grand Slam wins, two Olympic medals and millions of dollars in prize money and endorsements from Louis Vuitton, Mercedes-Benz, Uniqlo, Wilson Sporting Goods and other top brands. The new documentary highlights the Swiss-born player’s retirement from the game in 2022. But a question arises, where to watch the documentary ‘Federer: The Twelve Days’? Federer: Twelve Final Days is available to stream with a subscription to Prime Video from Thursday, June 20. It premiered a week-and-a-half earlier at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City and now it’s available to stream at home.

Directed by Asif Kapadia and Joe Sabia, Federer: Twelve Final Days follows the 12 days leading up to Roger Federer’s retirement from professional tennis at the Laver Cup tournament at The O2 Arena in London, England. The documentary also follows his relationships with family and his rivals: Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.

The feature-length doc is billed as an ‘intimate’ follow-along through the final 12 days of Federer’s illustrious career. Originally a home video which was never intended for public release, the film captures Federer at his most vulnerable and candid self as he says goodbye to a game and the fans that shaped his life for the last two decades.
