Who is Ndavi Nokeri?
Ndavi hails from Tzaneen, Limpopo. During the Miss South Africa pageant show, she had expressed how the small town has been a major pillar of support during her Miss SA journey. The 23-year-old graduated from the University of Pretoria with a degree in BCom Investment Management. Prior to embarking on the Miss SA pageant, she held a job at an asset management firm. Ndavi is no stranger to the pageant stage. In 2019, at just 20 years old, she won the Miss Jozi title. She took part in the competition whilst studying at the University of Pretoria. As per a South African media portal, she took two years to invest and build on herself before she felt ready to compete for the crown. During her Miss South Africa 2022 run, Ndavi, advocated for education equity for all children and students in South Africa. She revealed that her failure in certain aspects at school is what helped her grow and fuelled her ambition.

Miss Universe 2023 will be taking place in New Orleans, Louisiana. Former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo and “The Real” TV personality Jeannie Mai Jenkins will serve as hosts following Steve Harvey’s five-year run. For worldwide, The Miss Universe pageant is making its move to streaming after decades on broadcast television. Previously, the pageant was broadcast on Fox, but it’s now moving to the Roku Channel via a one-year deal for Roku to be the official home for Miss Universe.
