Wednesday night turned out to be grim and deadly for Americans when at least 22 people were killed and nearly 60 others were left injured in a mass shooting incident in Lewiston, Maine, in the United States. Maine Mass Shooting shocked the entire world as the shooter opened fire on innocent people apparently from Assault Rifle (AR). As per reports, the Lewiston mass shooting took place at three locations- Walmart distribution center, a bar, and a third location. Now, the US authorities have arrested one suspect in the Maine Mass Shooting incident and his name is Robert Card. Who is Robert Card?
Robert Card, a 41-year-old retired US military officer, was arrested after the deadly Maine Mass Shooting. Robert Card was arrested after the Police issued a BOLO (Be on the Lookout) saying the shooter was seen driving a White 2013 Subaru Outback with the license plate 9246PD. The car was found near the Lisbon boat dock on Frost Hill Avenue near Route 196.
A US media journalist took to his official X handle and informed before Maine Mass shooter's arrest, "Maine State Police is attempting to locate Robert Card as a person of interest regarding a mass shooting incident at Schemeagees Bar and Grille Restaurant and the Sparetime Recreation in Lewiston."
As per the journalist, "(Robert) Card is a trained firearms instructor believed to be in the Army reserve stationed out of Saco, ME. According to law enforcement, Card recently reported mental health issues including hearing voices and threats to shoot up the National Guard base in Saco. He was also reported to have been committed to a mental health facility for 2 weeks in the summer of 2023. Last known to be operating a White Subaru Outback with a black bumper with ME plates."
Now, Robert Card's Facebook profile is also going viral on social media. As per Robert Card's FB profile, he is a resident of Bowdoin Center, Maine. He is currently single and not married to anyone, according to his Facebook profile.
As per a US media report, Robert Card has been twice divorced. He is a father of three children and has a history of arrests for domestic violence and other crimes. One of his ex-wives has also obtained a restraining order against him.
It is pertinent to mention here that the first reports of the shooting emerged around 8 P.M. local time, involving multiple locations, including a restaurant called Schemengees Bar and Grille, a bowling alley named Sparetime Recreation, and the local Walmart.
