On Wednesday, DM Kaushambi, Sujeet Kumar was stopped by SP workers
before going towards the strong room. The workers held his and starting checking
it up for 20 minutes. During this time, DM didn’t utter a word, as the group had
completely taken control.
SP workers have started checking vehicles thoroughly amid calls
for EVM swapping being heard everywhere. In Varanasi, ADM Neelkant Singh has been
suspended over the issue of mishandling EVMs. It’s been reported that EVMs were
found in vehicle outside strong room.
As UP is heading to poll counting tomorrow, SP workers are trying
their best to keep a check over everything. The workers have kept themselves at
the gates of strong rooms.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday SP chief Akhilesh Yadav held a press
conference in which he alleged that there were attempts of swapping EVM taking place
in UP. The move of securing strong rooms by SP started after that.
On the question of exit polls, he said that all these exit polls
are going to be failed. Akhilesh claimed, he’s firm sure that SP will UP with a
clear majority.
