The 30-year-old Lawrence Bishnoi, leader of the 700-member gang of criminals, has come under the police watch with Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar taking responsibility for singer Sidhu Moosewala’s murder.
Canada-based Brar, a close aide of Bishnoi lodged in Tihar jail, took responsibility for the murder via a Facebook post saying it was done to avenge the killing of Youth Akali Dal leader Vicky Middukhera last year.

Punjab Police has been separately seeking custody of Bishnoi who is facing trial under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act in the national capital.
Lawrence Bishnoi said, “This work is not mine this time, because I was constantly in jail and was not using the phone, but I confess that my gang members are involved in Moosewala’s murder.”
Sachin Bishnoi, gangster Lawrence's nephew, has claimed responsibility for the murder. 'I myself shot Sidhu Moosewala,' he said. This accusation was made in a virtual ID interaction with a TV channel by a person who identified himself as Sachin Bishnoi.
