Nayanthara married Vignesh Shivan in 2022 at a private ceremony.
Vignesh Shivan is a 39-year-old Indian film director, film producer, screenwriter, actor and lyricist who works in Tamil cinema.
He studied at Santhome Higher Secondary School in Chennai and then at Vanavani Matriculation Higher Secondary School.
He started his career with the film Podaa Podi in 2012, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal.
Shivan and Nayanthara came into a relationship while working together on Naanum Rowdy Dhaan set in 2015.
The couple has twin boys named Uyir and Ulagam through surrogacy.
