Punjab Weather is all set to flip again. North India, including Punjab, has been witnessing a puzzling weather, meaning while at times the temperature soars up so much that it convinces people that peak summer is here, but after a few days, rainfall brings the temperature back to normal. Now, the Chandigarh unit of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has missed an alert in Punjab. IMD Chandigarh has predicted that at least 13 districts of Punjab will witness thunderstorms along with lightning on April 18, 2025. Not only this, during the storm, a strong breeze will blow at a speed of 50-60 kmph.
Punjab Rainfall Prediction
As per the IMD Chandigarh, regions like Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar, Tarn Taran, Kapurthala, Hoshiarpur, Jalandhar, Nawanshahar, Ludhiana, Rupnagar, Mohali, Fatehgarh Sahib, and Patiala will witness thunderstorms and lightning along with gusty winds on April 18.
Similar weather will continue to be witnessed on April 19, i.e, on Saturday in multiple regions that include- Patahnkot, Gurdaspur, Hoshairpur, Rupnagar, Mohali, and Fatehgarh Sahib. Thereafter, on April 20 and April 21, the weather will be normal in Punjab.
Punjab Temperature amid thunderstorm prediction
As per the IMD Chandigarh daily temperature forecast, Bathinda was the hottest in Punjab on April 17 with 40.9°C, Firozpur was 38.8°C, Patiala was 39.8°C, Amritsar was 37.2°C, Ludhiana was 38.9°C, Pathankot was 36.9°C, etc.
