After the brutal terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Seema Haider has once again become a topic of discussion. Seema, a Pakistani national, had entered India illegally through Nepal in May 2023. Now, people are demanding that she be sent back to Pakistan.
Following the deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam that killed 26 tourists, the Indian government has taken a strict stand against Pakistan now. As part of this, India has revoked the visa-free travel for Pakistani nationals that was previously offered under the SAARC visa exemption scheme.
According to the new reforms, Pakistani citizens can no longer travel to India under this policy. Those who are already in India under this scheme have been given an ultimatum to leave the country within a week.
This move has brought Seema Haider back into the spotlight, and she is clearly unhappy. Seema had crossed into India illegally via Nepal in May 2023. Now, many people on social media are demanding that she also be deported.
Is everything really fair in Love?
Seema’s story has been in the headlines before, both on social media and news channels. She reportedly met Sachin Meena, a resident of Greater Noida, through the online game PUBG, and the two fell in love. She then came to India with her four children and is now living with Sachin in Noida. The couple recently had a child together. Apparently, not just boundaries but the mounting tension between the two nations is standing tall between their marriage. Reportedly, the couple is leading a happy life and is unwilling to be separated. Not just them but the whole nation awaits to see if love really conquers all. And will the Law melt to let them stay together? Or are the ties that we cut (crying for justice) with Pakistan pull Seema away forever?
Will This Government Decision Affect Seema Haider?
After the government's announcement, people are wondering if it will affect Seema as well. However, according to police sources, this decision won’t have a direct impact on her because she didn’t come to India on a visa—she entered the country illegally by crossing the border. According to reports, she converted to Hinduism. Her case is currently in court, and until a decision is made, she cannot be deported. The Jewar Police is investigating the matter and has also sought legal advice from the central government.
Police officials say that due to the sensitivity of the case, any action will only be taken following proper legal procedure. The terror attack in Pahalgam has further strained India-Pakistan relations, and this decision is seen as a major strategic move by the Indian government to strengthen national security.
Terrorists open fire on tourists in Pahalgam
Six years after the Pulwama attack, Kashmir—called paradise on Earth—was once again soaked in the blood of innocents. A terrorist attack in Pahalgam’s “Mini Switzerland” area of Baisaran has cut open old wounds, reminding the nation of the Pulwama attack, where 40 CRPF personnel were martyred.
Up until Monday, Baisaran Valley was known for its lush greenery. But by Tuesday afternoon, the fields were stained red with blood. Bodies of innocent tourists were scattered across the area as their families wept in horror (probably will haunt them forever). The chilling scene brought back memories of April 14, 2019, when Pulwama was hit by a suicide bombing.
In this latest attack, terrorists reportedly asked people about their religion before opening fire. Once they confirmed their identities, they opened fire, killing 26 people. This inhumane act has left behind only fear and devastation in a place once filled with joyful tourists. The nation is still burning in red and wants to show no remorse. And trying to send Pakistani nationals back is part of our cry for justice.
