'Kidnappers kidnap you while you are travelling alone and then suddenly a Police start chasing the car and end up rescuing you'; no you are not reading a script of a Bollywood movie but a real-life incident that took place with a Haryana-based businessman Rajeev Mittal. On Tuesday, a team of Greater Noida Police rescued a businessman who was kidnapped from Haryana's Ballabhgarh. As per reports, the police from Knowledge Park Police Station in Greater Noida who were out on patrol with mobile force saw a suspicious black-coloured Scorpio at Noida Zero Point, which started picking up speed when the police chased it.
After the Police started to chase the car, the Scorpio hit a divider and four people alighted from the vehicle and ran away leaving the victim in the car. When the Police team reached the car, they saw Rajeev Mittal was blindfolded with his hands tied. The Police went into utter shock. Now, Rajeev Mittal's rescue video, or Haryana Businessman rescue video is doing rounds on social media. In the video, the Police team can be seen untying Rajeev Mittal and removing his blind fold. The locals there can be seen asking whether the businessman was fine. However, one of the cops said that Rajeev Mittal sustained injury to his head.
The Haryana businessman who was rescued was identified as Rajeev Mittal. Rajeev Mittal is the son of Ramprasad Mittal, a resident of Mukesh Colony police station in Haryana's Ballabhgarh district.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police of Greater Noida Ashok Kumar revealed more about Rajeev Mittal's kidnapping case. He said, "Rajeev Mittal, resident of Haryana's Ballabhgarh left his residence to receive someone from the Delhi airport at around 1 am. He was kidnapped by four people on his way who were on their way to Delhi. Seeing the police, the kidnappers got scared and hit the divider. Subsequently, they left the vehicle, took the keys, and ran from the spot. The police present at the spot rescued him and took him to a nearby hospital for primary medical care.
"The victim is fine and his family has been informed. We are investigating the case," added Ashok Kumar.
Notably, the Police are currently investigating the case and more information on Rajeev Mittal is yet to be revealed.
